Unless you are very lucky, the people you deal with in EDF. France Telecom and even independant providers, are French speaking only.

It can take a long time to get simple things done unless you can speak to them in their own language or find someone who can.

It needn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Core Interpreter services  are based on an hourly rate of 24 euros per hour.

To this may be added a call out charge based on distance travelled from my base at Videix.

For interpreting at the Notaire’s there is a minimum charge of 50 euros.

A Simple Phonecall costs 6 euros up to 15 mins and pro rata per unit of 15 mins thereafter. For a premium number the cost of the call is added to this.

A straightforward letter, putting in writing a request or a cancellation costs 12 euros
